Slow Cooker Nachos

Happy Cinco de Mayo!!
Every time I go to a Mexican restaurant I order the nachos. These nachos are delicious and may be my favorite recipe. They are easy and perfect for football games, parties, and even an easy dinner.  I also love that you can customize the toppings for each family member. The kids love these nachos simple with just chicken and cheese and Tyler and I love to add jalapeños and cilantro to ours.

Ingredients:
3-4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbs chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 14.5 oz can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 4 oz can chopped green chilis


Preferred toppings:

shredded cheddar cheese

sliced jalapenos

chopped cilantro

chopped tomatoes

Salsa

Directions:

Place chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker.

In a small bowl combine chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Sprinkle over chicken breasts. 

Add tomatoes and chilis.

Stir.

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.

Take out chicken, shred, and place back in the slow cooker.

Serve over tortilla chips and top with your favorite toppings.
