Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Simple and easy dinner idea! Juicy and tender crockpot turkey breast seasoned to perfection, and ready to serve with your favorite sides. You can leave the skin on but we prefer to take it off.  Take a few minutes to season the turkey breast and set it and forget it! 

Ingredients:


1 large yellow onion, halved and sliced thick

3 medium carrots peeled and cut in half

1 double breasted bone-in turkey breast

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon thyme

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon sea salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Directions:

Place onion and carrots in the bottom of your slow cooker.

Rinse and take skin off of  the turkey breast and place on top of the onion, breast side up.

Drizzle olive oil over the top and rub in.

In a small bowl mix paprika, thyme, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. 

Rub spice mixture all over turkey breast.

Cover with lid and set the slow cooker to low for 4-5 hours.

Continue to cook on low until internal temperature reads 165 degrees F.

Slice turkey and serve with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts.
